One ribbon is all that is needed to complete a job during an overnight eight hour shift. Customers do not have to change ribbons during the shift. TEAC's Photo, Color and VersaMax ribbons each can print up to 500 discs. With AL550S, customers can print 500 discs unattended in an overnight eight hour shift.

TEAC AL550S, configured with the P-55 printer, prints up to 68 discs an hour. That is the fastest today! In addition, up to 8 printers can be operated from one PC. The new "Sticky Disc" mode separates discs that stick together. AL550S can be setup and configured easily. There are no robotics software needed to interface with a computer and the unit prints directly from applications. TEAC AL550S also features an LCD touchpad to allow for setup and diagnostics directly on the unit.

AL550S, configured with the P-55 printer, produces the world's sharpest photo image quality prints available. TEAC P55 is the world's only dye-sublimation thermal disc printer and is the sharpest image quality disc printer available. It is also the only Four-color CMYK (Cyan, Magenta,Yellow and Black) disc printer that offers "True-Black" instead of composite black by including the Black Panel on the ribbon.

Exclusive VersaMax ribbon for the P-55 disc printer provides the widest media compatibility, therefore, lowest cost-per-printed disc for customers. Customers can print on most media available in the market. P-55 is the most widely supported printer by 3rd -party robotic manufacturers. Customers can now easily upgrade from their inkjet printers to the TEAC's P-55 thermal disc printer if they already have a robotics system they are using, so they can save money by only upgrading the printer.
